Most of the major trail heads are marked. We are in the process of updating our trails with signs and colored markers. The entire property is fenced in. Maps are available.
There are 50 miles of trails.

Unfortunately we do not have individual picnic tables at each site. We do have plenty of picnic tables in our picnic pavilion.
We do not allow individual fire rings at camp sites. We have a community fire pit that is located near the picnic pavilion that is available for public use. We also have electric, refrigerators and gas grills that can be used in the picnic pavilion. There is no running water in the pavilion.
BVR allows dogs as long as they are controlled and not running loose disturbing guests. If we receive complaints, you may be asked to tie your dog or keep them on a leash. We do not allow dogs in any of the buildings.
All Horses are required to have a valid Negative coggins test result when visiting the ranch. In addition to a negative Coggins, the USDA requires that horses have a certificate of health signed by a licensed, accredited veterinarian in order to cross state lines.
While this is a relative question and can vary for individual, you may want to boot or shoe your horse as you may encounter rocks on some of the trails.
The terrain varies from dirt, clay, grass, sand and rocks.

At this time, BVR does not offer guided tours or horses for rent.
We are a reservation only facility. We are not staffed every day of the week. Because of this, we do require that you call or e-mail ahead of time. Check our website for the weekends we are open. Join our mailing list to learn when unscheduled rides or events take place.
